Funding Opportunity: Affinity Research Collaboratives

Applications for new Affinity Research Collaborative (ARC) funding or ARC renewal will be due on Monday April 13, 2020 at 10 am.

An ARC application form can be found in here.

Faculty are encouraged to discuss new applications with Dr. Katya Ravid, Founding Director of the Evans Center for Interdisciplinary Biomedical Research (ECIBR) and the Interdisciplinary Biomedical Research Office (IBRO).

An ARC represents an assembly of at least 5 investigators and trainees who would select an ARC Director and together will focus on a research theme, which will be explored with the aid of different disciplines and technologies. Following review, selected ARCs are funded for up to three years via DOM+CTSI+IBRO. An example of a current and successful ARC is the Systems Biology Approaches to the Microbiome ARC, led by Directors Drs. Daniel Segre and Evan Johnson.
