BU Profiles

Special Notice:

In the process of cloning this id-core site over to your sandbox for your projects the Default, Basic, Mini and Advanced Layout pages (set to Profiles Template) MAY SWITCH to Default Page Template in the transition. This is weird bug but needs to be adjusted back to the Profiles Page Template for listed profile content to render. You may lose the sidebar in this version of Framework 3x.

BU Profiles is the preferred way of managing faculty, staff, and student profiles. You can create profiles and lists of profiles with this plugin out of the box. Filtering, directories, and anything that involves designing a UI requires additional development time.

User-Facing Documentation

Features:

Create a profile with the following information:

  • A photo
  • Name
  • Title
  • Education
  • Office
  • Email
  • Phone Number
  • Description with basic formatting (bold, italic, etc)
  • You can assign profiles to a category

Pull a list of profiles by the following:

  • A category that profiles are assigned to
  • A profile ID or list of profile IDs
  • Everything but a profile ID or list of IDs

Order profiles alphabetically by the following information:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Title (Please note this is in ABC order, NOT heirarchical by role, i.e. Creative Director will not pear before Assistant Creative Director)
  • Education
  • Office
  • Email
  • Phone Number

Display options:

  • A large photo listing
  • A small photo listing
  • A mini listing
  • A listing with no photos
