Welcome to WordPress. We have created a blank WordPress site for your department. As you requested, we have not copied any content from your current site. You can do that manually, wherever appropriate.

Training

We strongly encourage you to attend one of our free WordPress training sessions. You can view the schedule and register for classes at:

Sessions are offered on both the Charles River and Medical Campuses.

Accessing Your WordPress Site

To access your site in WordPress, go to:

http://www-test.bu.edu/sitename/wp-admin/

Viewing Your Development Site

To view your development site, go to:

http://www-test.bu.edu/sitename/

Please note that you will need to add pages to your WordPress site before you can view content in your development site.

Your Current Site

If you plan to replace your current site with this new site, it is important that you re-upload any images or documents to the Media Library on your new WordPress site. When we launch a WordPress site, the new site replaces the old site, and all content on the old site is archived and taken offline.

Whenever you need our help, or when you are ready to have us launch your site, just click the Help link, which is part of the main navigation in your WordPress site.
